Dayton, New Jersey – March 15, 2010 – Accutest Laboratories, a premier national environmental testing company, announced today that it’s San Jose, California Laboratory has received DoD ELAP and ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation from the Laboratory Accreditation Bureau (L-A-B).
The Accreditation for Accutest Laboratories Northern California is in recognition of a successful assessment to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and the requirements of the DoD Environmental Laboratories (DoD QSM v4.1) based on the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference Chapter 5 Quality Systems Standard (NELAC Voted Revision June 5, 2003).
Accreditation is granted to perform environmental testing in support of the DoD environmental restoration programs which apply to DoD operations, activities, and installations, including government-owned, contractor operated facilities and formerly-used defense sites. The testing includes non-potable water, solid, and chemical materials. Accreditation is granted through: March 2, 2013.
